PC gamers have sent online petitions in this regard and have lobbied for a PC version. Accusations have been raised on the video game manufacturers for causing the delay, as a part of the marketing stunts where the game is constantly rumored to be out soon. So by the time the PC version of the game is already out, the players will have complete knowledge of the game, Society & Religion reported.
Another reason for the delay is due to the precautions being taken by the manufacturers to see that there are no piracy issues.
It was Intel spokesperson who commented that Rockstar might surprise gamers with a quick release of the PC version, leading to reports that said some retailers were already taking pre-order requests.
