As the anticipation from GTA 5 fans mounts, many have been hoping to see new content on GTA 5, after heists were released, with GTA 5 PC version following it.
During the recent year-end earnings call, Karl Slatoff, president of Take-Two, was reminded about the story-based content for GTA 5 that was promised during the 2014 earnings call. The reminder came from Doug Creutz, an analyst from Cowen group.
To this, Strauss Zelnick, chairman and CEO of Take-Two replied, "We haven't discussed any story-based downloadable content. We did talk about heists. We have different recollections," reported GameInformer.

But when the gaming website went and checked, it found a statement from the previous year that mentioned about Rockstar releasing updates and story mode content throughout spring. The statement also included that it would share "unannounced fiscal 2015 releases."
However, soon Take-Two provided a clarification. It said that Rockstar was "exploring story mode content" for GTA 5. But there exists no further information than this. It also said that Rockstar will be sharing information when new content is ready.
This statement hints that not everything is over in GTA 5 story mode and Rockstar could be working on some new content.
