Following the release of the Freemode Events DLC update for GTA 5 Online, Rockstar, the developer behind the popular video game has promised fans that future updates will have new cars.
Rumours and speculations had suggested on the possible release of 12 new cars in the recent update, but fans were disappointed that there were in fact none.
Rockstar asked fans not to be deterred by this update not having "more new cars to collect" and promised "new vehicles and lots more for future updates coming soon," in the comments section of Newswire.
Further, it also explained how to access Rockstar Editor, the new feature for PS4 and Xbox One consoles that will be coming via Freemode Events DLC update.
Enter Story Mode > enter the pause menu > navigate your way to the right (past Settings, Game, Online etc.) and select Rockstar Editor.
It also noted that the Director Mode will be accessible from inside the Rockstar Editor menu.
Rockstar said that it was "currently investigating" the issue of missing Contact Missions and will be rolling out a fix.
It reiterated the reasons why Freemode Events DLC update did not roll out for PS3 and Xbox 360, it said, "future content updates such as this are only possible on the newer and more powerful systems. As there isn't enough memory available to add to the game on the older systems, we cannot make any more meaningful content updates without putting the entire game at risk. "
Rockstar asked players to give their feedback on the new Freemode Events DLC update.
