NBC's supernatural drama series "Grimm" is all set to return with its sixth season as the writers have already begun to plot the adventures of Nick (David Giuntoli) in the upcoming season.
As the creative group has initiated the work on Season 6, another prominent actor of the series, Bitsie Tulloch, who portrays the character of Eve, has wished good luck to the production team.
Though the script work is in its initial phase, there are several speculations surfacing over the internet regarding what might turn up in the next season, especially the errands of Renard (Sasha Roiz).
In the finale of "Grimm" Season 5, Renard's daughter, Diana (Hannah R Loyd), used her magical powers to manipulate Renard into killing Bonaparte (Shaun Toub). Diana assumed Bonaparte as a threat to her parents' relationship and decided to take him away.
As reported by Christian Times, several speculations state that Renard will try to get back at Nick by using his daughter's powers in the upcoming season. Giuntoli spoke to TV Insider about what might happen to his character and Renard in Season 6.
"There's a pattern of behaviour with Renard that's well established by now. Renard is in love with himself and with power, so when he slays Bonaparte, Nick isn't going to give him the benefit of the doubt," Giuntoli said.
Nick continues to pursue Adalind (Claire Coffee) and Baby Kelly and it seems that Renard won't have to convince Diana much for taking Nick down. In the previous episodes, fans have witnessed how easily Diana can eliminate people who try to trouble her parents.
It was apparent from last season that Renard is willing to do anything to become more powerful and he won't tolerate anyone who tries to stop him. There is a significant possibility that with Diana's assistance, he will get hold of Nick and if it happens, Nick will be in serious trouble.
"Grimm" Season 6 will premiere in the second half of this year. Instead of the usual 22 episodes, Season 6 will only have 13 episodes.
