Grey's Anatomy Season 15 returns to ABC with a two-hour premiere on September 27. Even though there are a bunch of characters who won't be returning, the fans are excited to find out who's the father of Theodora Altman/ Teddy's (Kim Raver) baby.
Apparently, the upcoming season is themed "the season of love," which is why we can expect more relationship dramas. Speaking of, Nashville actor Chris Carmack will be joining the medical team at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital as an orthopaedic surgeon. This will be a recurring role and hopefully with it a few affairs.
Meanwhile, Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Alex (Justin Chambers) will be starting their new life as man and wife, and to be honest, it's not going to be one without hiccups. Talking to etonline, Luddington confirmed that they were going to be a "hot mess," adding that the idea is to keep the romantic-comedy-drama going.
"I would like them to hold off having a kid for a little bit and enjoy newlywed-ness. I joked about them maybe adopting a dog and testing the waters in that way. Can they even keep a fish alive together? I don't know! I really have no idea!" the actress was quoted as saying.
Raver is back to being series regular as interim chief of surgery. However, what's more exciting is the baby she's carrying. Everyone's bet is on Owen Hunt (Kevin Mckidd). How will this work out exactly considering Hunt has been trying to get back with his ex Amelia (Caterina Scorsone)? We'll have to wait it out.
Will Season 15 be the end of the show?
Showrunner Shonda Rimes was sitting on the fence with the idea of wrapping up the series. She told E! Online if Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) wanted in on it, she would continue running the show; almost how Supernatural got 13 seasons.
Apparently, these two made a pact that the show ends when Pompeo decides to leave. "So the show will exist as long as both of us want to do it. If she wants to stop, we're stopping. So I don't know if we'll see 600 [episodes], but I want to keep it feeling fresh," Rimes told the portal.
