A promo video for Season 12 episode 23 of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" will see Kyle admitting to Stephanie that he missed her. Wilmer Valderrama's character also appears to have forgiven Stephanie for dumping him.
"I've missed you," he says. "Well, relax. Not, like, sad or lovesick missed you. I manly missed you. I'm very tough."
Kyle's speech is a bit slurred and he doesn't seem to be doing too well. "Look, I talked to Dr. Shepherd about your surgery," Stephanie tells him. "And she's got this. You're gonna make it through this. I know it."
He then quips that he looks way hotter when he's not in a hospital gown and asks Stephanie to go with him on his European tour.
It is not immediately know if he'll make it alive out of the hospital, as speculations are rife that Kyle will be killed off before the season ends. After "At Last," there's just one more episode titled "Family Affair" and Valderrama's name is absent from the list of recurring cast. Also, fans reason that Shonda Rhimes will not get rid of a major character so soon after killing off Patrick Dempsey's Derek Shepherd in the previous season.
Derek's death was unexpected and it resulted in Rhimes receiving a lot of backlash. Fans even started several online petitions urging the showrunner to bring back the character. But Rhimes did not budge. Kyle's death will not send fans into frenzy, as viewers are just getting used to the character.
The synopses for the upcoming two episodes, according to Wikia, reads:
At Last: Amelia and Owen take their relationship to the next level. Alex gains some clarity on his future with Jo and Callie and Arizona continue to struggle with the current custody arrangement.
Family Affair: Meredith and Maggie support Amelia on an important day. Jo reveals that she has been keeping secrets from Alex while Arizona and Callie deal with the impact of their custody arrangement. Meanwhile, Ben leaps into action to help a friend.
"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays on ABC.
