Indian e-commerce website GreenDust will sell unboxed Xiaomi Mi 3 smartphones in the country for ₹10, 999, which is ₹3,000 less than the MRP price. This price includes free shipping of Mi 3 smartphones across India and will also cover six months Mi warranty.
The unboxed deivces are also available at an additional discount of ₹150 on ordering through GreenDust's mobile app and has limited stock.
Hitendra Chaturvedi, founder & CEO, GreenDust, said, "We have observed a huge transformation in customer behaviour in terms of refurbished products. We have been able to earn their trust because of which the 'Flash sale in mobile' has done tremendously well. Motivated by the positive response, we plan to continue with the expansion of the flash sale model to encompass more brands and categories."
The unboxed models will either be seal-opened, but unused, or have some software issues, which are fixed by GreenDust.
Xiaomi Mi3 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8274AB 2.3GHz processor, Adreno 330 450MHz GPU, 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and eMMC 4.5 flash memory along with 5-inch IPS display enhanced with 1,080x1,920 pixels resolution at 16:9 aspect ratio.
The device is powered with a 3,050mAh battery with a claimed battery life of 500 hours of standby time and 25 hours of 3G internet uses. This Android-based phone also enables the users to manage everything in the mobile through MI clouds.
