Upcoming adult comedy "Great Grand Masti", also called "Masti 3", is facing a few hurdles as the censor board has reportedly refused to certify the movie. According to a report in Spotboye, the censor board has denied certification to "Great Grand Masti" due to alleged vulgarity in the film.
"There is a lot of vulgarity in 'Great Grand Masti', which is the only reason why we didn't certify it," the report quoted a source from the examining committee of the board.
Director Indra Kumar will now have to approach the Revising Committee to get the clearance, the report added. The film was supposed to be released this year. "Great Grand Masti" is the third instalment of "Masti" franchise. The previous two parts, "Masti" and "Grand Masti", starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani, did decent business at the box office, but also received negative response for its high quotient of adult humour.
"Great Grand Masti" includes the same cast, but is rumoured to be even more explicit in terms of adult comedy. Meanwhile, another adult comedy "Mastizaade" is ready to hit the screens on 29 January. The film features Sunny Leone, Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor. Directed by Milap Zaveri, "Mastizaade" has been receiving positive response ever since the film's trailer was released.
