Racing video game, Gran Turismo 6 gets update 1.12 that adds new features and content enhancing the gaming experience.
Update 1.12 will add new cars, game modes and tracks to the Gran Turismo 6.
Eric Fishback, community manager at GT Explore Studio outlined the details of the new update on the PlayStation blog.
Below are some of the features that will be introduced in the Gran Turismo 6 update 1.12:
Vision Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo 6 update 1.12 will be getting "Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo" design concept FT-1 that was designed to appeal the "die-hard car enthusiasts.
The car is very easy to earn in the game. Players will have to complete only one lap in the limited time of the FT-1 Seasonal Event, and the lap time will not be taken into consideration. So just by participating they will be getting this car.
Quick Match Mode
A Quick Match mode has been added to the online version of the game and players will be entering an event with regulations for the race being decided before hand. Here, players will be matched automatically with players around the world and this will be followed immediately by a race.
The new update will be adding "Quick Match" on the My Home screen.
Sierra Time Rally
Sierra Time Rally has been added to the Special Events category in the game. This new track, "Circuit de La Sierra" is modelled around the Ronda region of Spain. Players will be able to play this track in both offline and online modes. The main catch in this rally is that players will have to complete a lap within given time. Successfully overtaking other vehicles and passing through the speed traps will allow them to score well and players must not hit the barriers as it will make them lose combo.
New Cars
Update 1.12 for Gran Turismo 6 will see the addition of new cars like
- Toyota FT-1 graphite
- Nissan GT-R NISMO '14
These cars will be added to the dealerships and players can access them from the Recommended Cars section. Players who have participated in the GT Academy online event in 2014 will be getting it as a free gift.
Additional Gauges:
Players will be able to add three gauge slots, which can be selected from boost meter, water temperature gauge, oil temperature gauge, tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure gauge, and fuel pressure gauge.
Force Feedback has also been adjusted.
