It didn't take even a month, in television time, for the viewers to get a clear picture about the crime bosses of the "Gotham" city. Every episode of the Fox's superhero series takes the TV world through a new chapter of the notorious city.
While the noble officer Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) struggles to wipe out the illegal activities in the corrupted city, the evil characters of "Gotham" sets up a new challenge for him.
In the last episode titled "Arkham", Gordon and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) was on a mission to save the Mayor from the dangerous criminals of the infamous city.
The next task for the protectors of the criminal city is to save the streets of "Gotham" from new drug dealers. "Gordon and Bullock search for the source of a new street drug that causes euphoria then death," stated the official synopsis of the fifth episode titled "Viper".
Though the viewers will have to wait until 20 October to know more about the new drug dealers of the city, there are a lot more awaiting the fans of "Gotham" in its upcoming episode.
"Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) works his way deeper into Maroni's (guest-star David Zayas) inner circle and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) continues to plot against Falcone (John Doman)," according to the synopsis.
It remains to be seen whether The Penguin will manage to gain the trust of Maroni as the latter is seen testing the loyalty of Cobblepot in a promotional image released by Fox, reported the fan site.
The guest stars to appear in the fifth episode of "Gotham" are Genevieve Hudson-Price as Charmagne; Peter Maloney as Isaac Steiner; Margaret Colin as Taylor Reece; David Zayas as Maroni; Jeremy Davidson as Nikolai; Danny Mastrogiorgio as Frankie Carbone; Mackenzie Leigh as Liza, Daniel London as Stan Potolsky; Kett Turton as Busker.
