Gotham co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are happily engaged after welcoming daughter

Gotham co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are now officially engaged.

Earlier this year, they welcomed their first child together. The Gotham stars made their relationship status public in September 2015. It was previously revealed that they intended to walk down the aisle very soon.

According to Daily Mail report, the actors are 'very happily engaged' after Morena flashed a diamond ring at the Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday, November 28.

McKenzie opened up about fatherhood to People, "Being a father is something I've wanted for a long time. I'm excited about all of it, poop, diapers and everything!"

During Harry Connick Jr.'s daytime talk show Harry last month, he explained the meaning behind his baby girl's name. "Her name is Frances, after my mother," he explained at the time. "I love that name. We call her Frankie. She's 7 months old, and the cutest thing in the world."

The Homeland actress who is parent to 3-year-old son Julius with estranged husband Austin Chick, said, "Ben's the sweetest... It's very nice to work with your significant other, especially when you're pregnant because you know you'll get some extra TLC and get taken care of."

This is a first marriage for Ben and second for Morena, who finalised her divorce from ex-husband Austin Chick in March this year.
