The first look teaser of Gopichand's upcoming film "Loukyam" has been released. One can expect the film to be a commercial potboiler with action, romance and comedy.
The first look poster of the film was released a few days ago and fetched good response. The teaser is also expected to impress Gopichand's fans as the actor is back doing an action drama, which is his forte.
The film, directed by Srivas, has Rakul Preet Singh, Brahmanandam, Sampath Raj, Pradeep Rawat, Kovai Sarala, Posani Krishna Murali and Raghu Babu in supporting roles. Brahmanandam's role will reportedly be one of the major highlights of the film.
"Loukyam" music is composed by Anoop Rubens of "Manam" fame. The film is produced by V. Anand Prasad under Bhavya Creations banner. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan have written the screenplay for this action entertainer.
The production of "Loukyam", which commenced in April, is in its final stage. The lead pair is all set to visit Switzerland next week to shoot the songs, reported Gulte. Post the completion of the shooting, the film's post-production work will commence.
The audio launch is set to take place on 20 September and the film will be releasing in the third week of September.
"Loukyam" will be Gopichand's first release of the year. The actor was last seen in the action adventure "Sahasam", which hit the screens in 2013. The film got positive reception and performed well at the box office. It turned out to be the biggest hit in Gopichand's career, reported Idlebrain.
It will be interesting to see whether "Loukyam" will be able to strike gold at the box office. The collaboration of Gopichand and director Srivas is likely to increase the expectations surrounding their upcoming project as the duo has already given the hit film "Lakshyam" (2007).
Whether the actor-director duo will be able to repeat their success is something one needs to wait and watch.
