Actor Gopichand and director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary, who have earlier worked together in "Yagnam", feel blessed and lucky to team up again for "Soukhyam".
Their second collaboration is scheduled to hit the screens on 24 December. Gopichand and AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary are now busy with the promotion of the movie. In recent interviews, the actor and director spoke about the comfort level that exists between them.
"We worked for Yagnam, and his clarity in explaining and executing the story remains the same. Here the story was written by Sreedhar and later Ravi Kumar came on board. He came in, registered it perfectly and executed it the way it ought to be. There is a certain comfort level when you work with him. The story is apt for me," Gopichand told The Hindu.
"It was Gopi who gave me a break in 'Yagnam', and I consider myself extremely lucky to have worked with him again. We worked more on a personal level and our relationship was very friendly. It wasn't like how usually a director and an actor get along. Whenever in doubt, both of us would sit down and clarify things," he said. AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary told IANS.
Written by Sridhar Seepana, "Soukhyam" is a romantic action movie high on the entertainment quotient. Both actor and director are confident of the film's success. "I am confident about this film. I am sure it will be a great film to end the year with," Gopichand said in the interview to The Hindu.
"Soukhyam" also features Regina Cassandra, Brahmanandam, Posani Krishna Murali and Saptagiri in important roles. "It will be an out-and-out entertainer. It will be 80% entertainment and 20% action," Ravi Kumar said.
