The much speculated Google's ambitious smartphone project, code-named 'X Phone,' has created a buzz in online media after its specs and snapshots were leaked in the Web.

The X Phone is touted as the first biggest flagship product to come out from Motorola Mobility since the company was acquired by search engine giant Google last year.

Popular technology community website AndroidWorld has revealed the images and a few specs of the alleged X Phone thanks to an anonymous tipster. The leaked snapshots are blurry and doesn't give away much, but the specs of the smartphone seems to suggest that the new device poses competition to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 and other big brand smartphones like HTC One and Xperia Z which were released this year.

According to the report, X Phone will sport a 4.7-inch HD display, 16-megapixel rear camera along and 5.0-megapixel front facing camera with a face reading technology similar to Galaxy S4. Comparatively speaking, the Samsung device is speculated to feature an eye enabled text browser called 'Smart Scroll'.

The mystery X Phone is also pegged to be the first smartphone to run on Android's Mobile OS version 5.0 'Key Lime Pie' and it will be powered by a monster quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4i processor.

According to various reports, X Phone is expected to debut sometime around May. Co-incidentally, Google had also confirmed to host the I/O 2013 developers' event on 15 May.
