The much-anticipated second generation Google Nexus 7-2 is making its debut this month end, says a Taiwanese website.
Business media house Economic Daily reported that the Nexus 7 successor will be launched in Taiwan during the last week of July with an estimated price of $299 (around ₹17,900) before launching in other major global markets.
Taiwanese daily's report about Nexus 7-2 launch sounds authentic as its predecessor was launched in July 2012. Many tech publications had expected the new nexus tablet to be launched along with new Android mobile OS v4.3 Jelly Bean in May at Google sponsored developers' conclave 'I/O 2013', but the event only witnessed the formal announcement of Samsung's Galaxy S4 'Google Edition' and Google Play updates.
According to latest reports, Nexus 7-2 (codename:Asus K009) sport 7.0-inch full HD 1920x1080p resolution display and run on the latest Android OS v4.3 Jelly Bean powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory.
The upcoming device is also expected to sport 5.0-megapixel camera on the rear side and 1.2-megapixel snapper on the front side.
