Benchmark results of the alleged Google Nexus 6 have made their way to the Internet, showing Motorola phone out-performing current top end smartphones like Apple iPhone 6, HTC One M8 and others.
According to the leaked Geekbench 3 performance test manifests, the forthcoming Nexus 6 has scored a staggering 1,040 points in single-core trial and 3,199 points in multi-core test beating Apple iPhone 6 (1630/2998), HTC One M8 (888/2613), Samsung Galaxy S5 (944/2900), LG G3 (950/2545) and other premium smartphones.
It is startling to know that 5.9-inch Nexus 6, which is rumoured to house Snapdragon 805 series CPU has pulled off such a good performance despite having a high-resolution QHD (2560x1440p) display. Many believe that it probably had to do with pure Android OS in the Motorola phone.
The Google Nexus 6 is said to ship with the latest Android L OS powered by 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13.0-megapixel camera with 4K video recording ability, a 2.1-megapixel snapper on the front and a 3,200 mAh battery.
Going by the benchmark results, Nexus 6 aka Nexus X (codenamed Motorola Shamu) is truly turning out to be a monster that Android fans have long been waiting.
Rumours are rife that Nexus 6 is expected to get unveiled Mid-October (either 15 or 16) with Android L and later get released on Halloween (31 October) via Google Play store.
