Google is tight-lipped on its upcoming device dubbed as the Nexus 5X aka Nexus 5 (2015). Even name of the device is not confirmed; forget about revealing other details but leaks have revealed almost everything from features to price.

The search giant has scheduled an event at 12PM ET / 9AM PT on 29 September, so its Nexus 5X aka Nexus 5 (2015) is very likely to be unveiled along with the Huawei Nexus 6P on the day. However, the device is expected to be released at a later date.

Google is said to be collaborating with LG again for its Nexus 5 (2013) successor codenamed "LG Bullhead", while the Nexus 6 successor will be made by Huawei under the codename "Huawei Angler."

According to Android Police, the Nexus 5X will come with features like 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080p screen resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, Adreno 418 GPU, 16 GB and 32GB internal memory, 3GB RAM, 12.3 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper, 2700mAh battery and USB Type-C. 

On the other hand, Gizmo China reported that the device will come packed with 64 GB internal memory and 4 GB RAM, powered by a non-removable 3180 mAh battery, and house a 13 MP main camera and 4 MP front snapper.

There were also reports that the Nexus 5X will come with plastic back, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C connector, fingerprint sensor and Android Pay. Under the hoods, it is expected to have Snapdragon 800 processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 64 GB internal memory, 4 GB RAM, 13 MP Sony IMX278 sensor with an OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) camera, 4 MP front snapper, and 3180 mAh battery.

Specifications of the Nexus 5X are not confirmed yet but it won't come as a surprise if they are seen in the device when launched.

Interestingly, Geek Snack has reported that the Nexus 5X will be priced under $500 but it is not confirmed too.
