Google's much anticipated smartphone, Google Nexus 5, has appeared in the benchmark tests revealing the graphic capabilities of the device as compared to Sony Xperia Z1 and Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones.
The first test by GFX Benchmarks named as '2.7 T-Rex HD Offscreen', tests the maximum graphic performance of the Nexus 5 with a decent result of 23.1fps (frames per second).
The Nexus 5 is said to equal the scores with Sony Xperia Z1 and beat Samsung's flagship smartphone, Galaxy S4, which managed a score of 17.2fps.
The results for Nexus 5, however, were lower as compared to Apple's iPhone 5S which got an average score of 24.7fps.
Another test, 2.5 Egypt HD Offscreen, which tests the device's graphic capabilities gave a result of 59.2fps for Google Nexus 5, which is said to be far above from Samsung Galaxy S4 scoring a low 43.9fps. Here Nexus 5 also edged above iPhone 5S which scored 56.7fps.
However, the Google handset was not able to reach up to the Sony Xperia Z1 score of 60.6fps.
The device information section of the handset shows the Android OS build version as KeyLimePie, which was rumoured to be the next Android 5.0 till Google revealed the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The screen size of the device is marked as 1794 x 1080, which is the expected resolution of the handset with a maximum CPU frequency of 2.2 Ghz.
Other information by GFX Benchmarks mentions Google Nexus 5 to sport a Qualcomm processor with Adreno 330 for handling the graphics.
