Google Nexus 5 (2015) is expected to be unveiled in October or November by the time Motorola Nexus 6 completes a year cycle in the market. It is reported that the search giant will collaborate with LG once again for a new device, which has been codenamed "LG Bullhead".
Interestingly, armour protective silicon skin case of the purported LG Nexus 5 (2015) is spotted on online retailer OPPOMART (via GizmoChina). The image has revealed that it will feature round camera, fingerprint ID, and protruding dual LED flash.
Going by the cases, Nexus 5 (2015) will not look like its predecessor, the Nexus 5 (2013) but resemble HTC and Samsung devices a bit. The looks is in sync with earlier report that the upcoming smartphone will not come with the design of LG's current flagship device, the G4 but based on an unreleased model.
According to reports that have surfaced so far, the Nexus 5 (2015) is expected to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD touchscreen with 1440 x 2560 pixels, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and runs on Android M. It is also expected to come with features like 64 GB internal memory, 3 GB RAM, 13 MP main camera, 2 MP front snapper, non-removable 2,300 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor and Android Pay.
On the other hand, GizmoChina has reported that the device will house 64 GB internal storage, 4 GB RAM, 3,180 mAh non-removable battery, 13 MP main camera, and a 4 MP front camera under the hood. It added that the upcoming Nexus samrtphone will have NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C connector.
It is also reported that Nexus 5 (2015) will be much cheaper than Nexus 6 despite feature upgrades. Geek Snack has also claimed in a report that it will be priced under $500.
