Snapshot, features and price details of the Lava Pixel V1, which is rumoured to be the upgraded version of Google Android One series, has leaked online in India.
E-commerce site My Smart Price has listed Lava Pixel V1, revealing the phone's design and specifications.
The device, according to the entry, sports a bezel-less 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD display with front-camera on top left corner, speaker grill in the centre and a couple of sensors to the right side. [View Lava Pixel V1 image, HERE]
Under the hood, it is said to pack Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, 64-bit class 1.3GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor backed by 2GB RAM, expandable memory and 2650 mAh battery.
It is also said to boast a 13mp camera on the back and 5mp snapper on the front. The website says that the device is expected to cost Rs 11,349, once it gets officially released to the market.
Going by the leaked spec-list, Lava Pixel V1 does look a worthy upgrade over the budget Android One series. But it has one anomaly. The Economic Times (Tech), citing a company insider, had claimed the new device will have a 5.0-inch HD display, but the one featured in My Smart Price is 5.5-inch, which apparently has cast shadow over the e-commerce site's authenticity.
So far, Lava International has not responded to the reports doing the rounds of the Internet. We just have to wait for a few more hours to finally know what the company has in store for us.
