Goodachari 10-day box office collection: Adivi Sesh churns out another blockbuster after Kshanam

Adivi Sesh's Goodachari has continued to keep the cash registers ringing at the worldwide box office in the second weekend. The movie has become a blockbuster with wonderful collections in 10 days.

The Adivi Sesh starrer was released in decent number of cinema halls on Aug 3 amid good hype and it was able to meet the expectations of everyone. The word of mouth boosted its collection in the following days. Goodachari collected Rs 15.15 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the first week and earned Rs 6.8 crore for its distributors.

Trade analysts predicted that its collection would be halted by new releases Srinivasa Kalyanam and Vishwaroopam 2 in its second week. Its business apparently will be affected by the new movies on its second Friday, but Goodachari became the first choice for many viewers with new releases getting mixed word of mouth.

Goodachari has collected approximately Rs 3.85 crore gross at worldwide box office in the second weekend, taking its 10-day total collection to Rs 19 crore gross. Kshanam collected approximately Rs 10 crore gross at the box office in its lifetime and it was the highest grossing solo film for Adivi Sesh. Now, Goodachari has not only beaten this record, but also raised the bar for his forthcoming movies.

The distributors have shelled out Rs 6 crore on its theatrical rights and Goodachari has earned them Rs 8.50 crore for them. The movie has not only recovered their investments, but also earned them profits of Rs 2.50 crore. The film has made a recovery of 141.66 per cent of their investment. It has become one of the big hit Telugu movies of 2018. It is expected earn more for its distributors in the coming day.

Goodachari is a spy thriller film, which has been written by Adivi Sesh, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Abhishek Nama, TG Vishwa Prasad, Abhishek Agarwal under the banners Abhishek Pictures, People Media Factory and Vista Dream Merchants banner. The film stars Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala and Madhu Shalini in the lead roles.
