The Good Wife" season 6 returns on CBS with the winter finale episode titled "The Trial" and it will focus on Cary Agos' (Matt Czuchry) criminal case and Alicia Florrick's (Julianna Margulies) campaign for State's Attorney.
As per the official trailer of the mid-season finale episode, a representative from the State's Attorney office assures Agos that if he testifies against Lemond Bishop (Mike Colter), they might consider his plea for a lighter sentence but the young lawyer refuses the offer.
Throughout the video, he is seen disturbed and he tells Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi), "They're going to convict me, Kalinda. We don't have a case. I look at the jury, and they want to put me away."
Meanwhile, the viewers will get to watch Alicia and her husband Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) making their first public appearance after she launches her campaign for State's Attorney.
"Alicia needs to shore up her support among police and firefighters – not due to anything she did wrong, but because Peter, as governor, has been messing with their pensions. Alicia also deals with her own private knowledge that the opposition has compromising photos at their disposal," said Executive Producer Robert King.
The official synopsis of "The Trial" reads, "When Cary's case goes to trial, a plea deal offer has him seriously considering jail time. Also, a joke between mother and daughter lands Alicia in trouble as her campaign for State's Attorney is in full stride".
Watch the Sunday night's episode of American legal drama on CBS at 9:30 pm to find out more about Alicia and Agos. "The Good Wife" season 6 episode 10 will be live streamed HERE.
