Alicia Florrick's (Julianna Margulies) run for State's Attorney is a major plot of "The Good Wife" season 6, but fans are not very excited about the storyline as they love to watch their favourite character back in court.
Though the CBS legal drama made her wear the lawyer's hat in the mid-season premiere titled "Dark Money", viewers are demanding more scenes of Alicia in the law firm, "Florrick/Agos/Lockhart".
So the makers of legal drama might explore more of her legal profession in the upcoming episodes. "First of all, we like seeing Alicia stretch so we are not hungering for it yet, but we know the audience hungers for it... there is something very special about seeing Alicia—it's where she feels most comfortable, where she kind of kicks ass," executive producer Robert King told E!Online.
Meanwhile, he also revealed that they are trying to show the other side of Alicia in season 6 and the upcoming episodes will focus more on Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), Kurt McVeigh (Gary Cole) and Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry).
However, showrunner Michelle King teased a conflict between Alicia and her colleagues in near future.
"There is tension within the firm because Alicia has put everyone in an awkward position by being there and yet not there. They're going to question what her motives are, because she may have other interests she needs to serve, not just the firm's. That's going to play out in the second half of the season," he told TV Line.
As of now, there are no official details as to when Alicia will return back to "Florrick/Agos/Lockhart", but fans can expect some thrilling sequences in the next few episodes of season 6.
CBS will air "The Good Wife" season 6 episode 14 titled "Mind's Eye" on Sunday, 8 March, at 9pm.
