It is the time of the year to overlook the TV world and find out why some of the long-running, fan favourite drama series, such as The Good Wife and Castle, did not get the green light for a new season.
More than 30 popular drama series were axed by the broadcasting networks this year citing decrease in viewership ratings as the reason. But fans believe that the decision was made by just considering profits in mind.
Earlier this year, Canadian-American actor Nathan Fillion also criticised the entertainment industry for making quick decision and cancelling the shows. According to him, many of the characters did not get the send off they deserve in the story.
