The Golden Globes 2016 ceremony begins at 8 pm (EST) on Sunday, 10 January (6:30 am on Monday for India). The ceremony ends at 11:10 pm (EST) after annoucing the winner of Best Motion Picture Drama as "The Revenant".
Leonardo DiCaprio, the star of "The Revenant" was also honoured as the Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama, while Brie Larson bagged the Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for her role in "Room".

The award season has officially begun, and following the spectacular People's Choice Awards 2016, which was held on 6 January, it is now the time for the prestigious and fun-filled Golden Globes. This year, one of the most popular comedians, Ricki Gervais, is returning to host the event for the fourth time.
