"Gold Rush" just got over with the winter break, and the thrill is indeed rising with every passing episode. Hence, it might not come as a surprise to many that Tony may decide to leave the gold digging business and return home in the next episode, titled "Crew War".
It is going to be the penultimate episode of Season 6, and hence fans are surely going to be treated to some surprises.
According to the synopsis of the episode by TV.com, Parker's new mechanic sparks a mutiny; a drought shuts down Todd's operation; and Tony faces a major issue that could put him out of business.
Parker dislikes the way everyone is treating his mechanic, and even though a lot of them have complained against the mechanic's behaviour and attitude, Parker is reluctant to fire him.
Tony is desperate to get some positive results now that his dredge is being supervised by Monica. However, when he still doesn't get what he expects, he decides to quit.
It will be certainly a blow to the fans and viewers as Tony is one of the prominent stars of the show. If he leaves, things can turn pretty bad and might jeopardise the entire gold rush project.
There is still no confirmation regarding it, but if it happens, fans will be greatly disappointed.
In the previous episode, titled "Captain Monica", Monica covered Tony's dredging operation while Parker attempted a large haul.
Parker celebrated his 21st birthday recently, while Tony looked into making an investment and Todd got a wakeup call.
Tony was forced to rebuild his wash-plant and Parker hit a jackpot in an attempt to get more gold than his rival Todd.
So far, Season 6 has been full of unexpected twists and turns. With only one episode remaining, it will be interesting to watch how the journey ends for all of those who have been actively involved in project Gold Rush.
