Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell yet again proved that he is one of the best fielders in the world when he pulled of a stunning one-handed catch on the boundary while having an ice cream.
Maxwell was representing English County Champions Yorkshire in a charity match against local village club Bardsley played on Wednesday.
After taking the catch, Maxwell had another bite of his ice cream before returning the ball. That left the dismissed batsman Ed Clayton stunned. Clayton stood in the middle of the pitch and appluaded the Aussie all-rounder's remarkable effort.
Maxwell also scored 27 runs for Yorkshire in the same match. Yorkshire won the charity match by three runs, which was played in front of about 400 spectators at the Bardsley's Keswick Lane ground in Leeds.
The dynamic Aussie all-rounder was named in the ICC World Cup 2015 Team of the Tournament earlier.
Currently, he is representing English County champions Yorkshire. Recently, he also smashed a 56- ball 92 in the county cricket. But his show at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 was disappointing.
Maxwell will soon be leaving Yorkshire to join the Australia A squad later this month. Australia A will be playing two four-day matches against India A in the subcontinent. Post these two matches, Australia A will also be playing a limited over tri-series with India A and South Africa A.
