Rumors are rife that Naya Rivera has been kicked out of "Glee". The actress did not appear in the recent season finale and this has added more fuel to the fire that she has been written out of the show.
"Glee" wrapped up its Season 5 finale on May 13 and fans were shocked not to see Santana (Naya Rivera) in the last episode of the season. It is being said that Rivera had an argument with the producers of the show, which led to her expulsion.
"The rumors of Naya being written off the finale are definitely true," a Glee insider told Hollywoodlife.
It was also understood that Rivera had a fight with co-star Lea Michelle. However, creator of the show Ryan Murphy believes that things are good between the female co-stars and Rivera will be making a comeback on the show next year.
"I don't think there is a story between Naya and Leah. I always marvel at the things that become headline news that most of the time are completely fabricated," Murphy told Extra ."Naya's coming back next year, Lea's coming back next year, anybody ever in that cast has an open invitation to come back and finish the character they so beautifully started."
However, there are contradictory reports, which suggest that Murphy is being on a safer side and Rivera is indeed off the show.
"He had to make that statement to make it look like he wasn't taking sides because he doesn't want to look like the bad guy. But at the end of the day Ryan, is in Lea's [Michele] pocket and she will get whatever she wants. Naya is gone from the show, but Ryan doesn't want a feud to take over the last season," a source said refuting Murphy's statement.
The sixth and final season of "Glee" will reportedly air in 2015. Glee cast includes Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale and others.
