Gladrags Mrs. India 2015, India's only beauty pageant and TV reality series for married women, is all set to kick off with Taiwanese smartphone makers HTC as the title sponsor for this year.
Auditions for Gladrags Mrs. India 2015 will kick off for northern and eastern states of India on 21 February, at 11 am at The Claridges Hotel, Aurangzeb Road, New Delhi.
For Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and all South India states, they will be held on 28 February, 12 pm at the Gladrags Career Academy, Wadala, Mumbai.
The pageant will start in March after selecting the candidates in the auditions.
The beauty pageant is a family-oriented reality TV series based on multi-talented, multi-tasking lives of Indian married women and their families representing how a woman has to multi-task.
HTC will be occupying the focus of all major activities and events scheduled for this beauty pageant, being the official sponsor.
"HTC is quite enthusiastic and positive about its involvement as it is something very new for a technology player to explore. As a technology player, we think that women are an integral part of our target audience, we believe that the smart woman of today becomes smarter with the support of the smartphone; hence the association compliments this new wave," said Faisal Siddiqui, President South Asia HTC on the company's association with the pageant.
"The HTC Gladrags Mrs. India is a reality TV series based on women who have to multi-task all the time. HTC mobiles are known for its multi-tasking features which are the key attributes of all the married women. We are hopeful of having a great season with this wonderful association," said Maureen Wadia, President of Gladrags Beauty Pageants and Editor of Gladrags Magazine.
Interestingly, HTC's association with Mrs India 2015 beauty pageant was announced a few days before the launch of its flagship smartphone, the HTC One M9. The device is scheduled to be unveiled at the Mobile World Conference 2015 (MWC 2015) in Barcelona on 1 March.
