"Girl Meets World" Season 3 is only three episodes in and it is already doing a great job at teaching young Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her friends about life and high school. In the upcoming episode 4 of the season, fans will see Riley learning the practicality of perseverance.
Riley learns the hard way that grades that she earns in high school will go on her permanent record and that the fact that she excelled in middle school will not be taken into account when she applies to college. She does poorly in the school or the first time, and her Spanish teacher gives her a "D." Meanwhile, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), who is known for her bad grades, receives her first "A."
A similar switcheroo is happening with their friends Zay (Amir Mitchell) and Lucas (Peyton Meyer) as well. While Lucas does poorly in his try-outs for the baseball team, the usually lukewarm Zay impresses the coach. Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis), meanwhile, feels threatened by the other genius in his class, who is none other than his former nemesis and current girlfriend Smackle (Cecilia Balagot).

As fans might have already guessed, the friends will all get guidance from their beloved teacher Corey Mathews (Ben Savage) and his wife Topanga (Danielle Fishel). Corey also struggles with his love for his daughter and her friends, and his responsibility as a teacher who needs to prepare them for their future.
