Disney shows have a habit of using the alternate universe storyline to teach their main characters valuable lessons and Girl Meets World is going to do just that for Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her friends in the upcoming season 3 episode 15.
As diligent fans of Girl Meets World may have noticed, World of Terror is a running gag on the show and has been since season 1. The third part of the series returns for the Halloween special this year too and it will be called Girl Meets World of Terror 3. There are a few things that are scarier than not having your friends and family around and that is exactly what the group of friends are going to experience in the upcoming episode.
In World of Terror 3 Riley and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) do not know each other and are extreme version of themselves. Maya did not have Riley to give her hope and happiness, meanwhile Riley did not have Maya to give her a sense of reality. However, this alternate universe is not just affecting the two of them.
In fact, the promo for Girl Meets World season 3 episode 15 sees Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) in his old colourful attire and Lucas (Peyton Meyer) in his complete cowboy get-up, as Smackle (Cecilia Balagot) seems like a friendless girl in head braces. This Halloween special episode shows fans what world would be like if our favourite group of friends weren't actually friends.
As exciting as the episode is, World of Terror 3 will not be aired by Disney Channel for two more weeks. In fact, Girl Meets World will only return with season 3 episode 15 on Friday, 14 October.
