Chinese smartphone maker Gionee launched a new handset dubbed as the S6s in India on Monday.
The highlight of the new Gionee S6s is its camera hardware. It boasts a feature-rich 8MP front snapper with dedicated LED flash. In addition, the phone also supports screen flash mechanism similar to the 'Retina flash' seen in Apple iPhone 6S series. When a user tries takes a selfie in dark conditions, the smartphone's screen turns white to project bright light to the face and capture good snaps.
On the back, Gionee S6s also houses a 13MP camera with Sony IMX258 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, and full HD video recording.
Other stipulated features include 5.5-inch full HD display, Android Marshmallow OS, 3GB RAM, MediaTek octa-core CPU, 32GB inbuilt storage, fingerprint sensor and a 3,150mAh battery.

The new Gionee S6s is exclusively available on Amazon India (HERE) in Mocha Gold and Latte Gold colour options for Rs.17,999.
Competition:
Gionee S6s will be up against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K5 Note, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Moto G4 Plus series, among others.
