Chinese technology giant Gionee has released a budget phablet GPad G3 in India via online stores.
Gionee GPad G3 sports a big 5.5-inch FWVGA capacitive display having 854x480p resolution and runs on the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
The phablet flaunts a 5-megapixel camera with flash support on the rear side and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) snapper. Other specifications include a 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB (expandable up to 32GB) and 2250 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB port and GPRS/EDGE.
Currently, the dual-SIM Gionee device is available at e-retailer website Snapdeal for ₹9,699. Another e-retailer, Infibeam, might begin GPad G3 sales soon.
Earlier this week, Gionee launched its 2013 marquee smartphone, Elife E6, for ₹22,999 in India. The device sports a 5.0-inch full HD White OGS (One Glass Solution) screen having a pixel density of 441 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM.
