Chinese smartphone maker Gionee on Tuesday launched a quad-core smartphone called ELife E3 for ₹14,999.
Gionee ELife E3 sports a 4.7-inch IPS HD display with 1280x720p resolution and runs on the latest Android mobile OS v4.2 Jelly Bean powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 quad-core processor with PowerVR Series5XT graphics engine. It houses 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB.
The new phone will come with four colour variants - red, blue, black and white, but the details regarding its date of availability are still under wraps.
Considering its overall features, Gionee ELife E3 is competitively priced. Still, it will be an uphill task for the device to take on Micromax A116 Canvas HD, Karbonn S5 Titanium and other low-cost Indian handsets.
