Fans of "Gilmore Girls" will have to wait till November to watch the highly anticipated four-part Netflix revival of the show titled A Year in the Life. The special consists of four 90-minute chapters and each episode will focus on a different time of the year such as Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
Air Date: "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will premiere globally on Nov. 25 at 12:01am PT.
Trailer: The trailer for the revival was recently released and it showed that while a lot has changed since the show went off air almost a decade ago, the relationship between Lorelai and Rory, the characters essayed by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel respectively, hasn't changed much. The trailer shows the mother-daughter duo sitting at the kitchen table eating Pop Tarts and talking nineteen to a dozen.
Talking about the revival, Graham revealed at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour that it was like no time has passed. "It was not difficult. It was easy. It was joyous it was fun. It was exhilarating. It was the old show. There was no sense of having to resuscitate something. It was just like it was meant to continue.
"It just feels like such a perfect fit," she continued. "I can't believe I got to do it again."

Plot: A good part of the new instalments will deal with the death of Richard Gilmore and how it has affected the other characters. "One of the aspects of the show that felt the same but different but in the wake of losing Ed [Edward Herrmann], which was and still is a great loss for us personally, it was also part of our story that we were telling," Graham said. "That gave the show a depth and emotional complexity that just felt to me like here's the show grown up. … Through dealing with that, [Lorelai] makes some decisions."
