The pilot episode of The Gifted is directed by four-time X-Men film director Bryan Singer. The series will focus on two ordinary parents; Reed Strucker and Caitlin Strucker (Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker) who discover their children (Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White) possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
The teaser hinted that The Gifted's storyline is a straight adaptation of the comic book. The 22-seconds long teaser displays quite a few shots of mutant powers which prove that Fox, Nix, and Singer the trio together is trying build-up such a storyline that will trigger interest amongst modern-age children as well. The show will debut this fall on Fox. The trailer is likely to debut on the official Twitter page of the TV series.
