A 120m wooden replica of 17th century London was set alight on a barge as it floated down the river Thames on Sunday evening (4 September) to mark the 350th anniversary of The Great Fire of London.
The structure, titled London 1666, was made in conjunction with the Londons Burning Festival which saw various events, art installations, concerts, lectures and tours all over London to commemorate the great fire which began on Pudding Lane 350 years ago, forcing London to rebuild anew from the ashes.
