In its second weekend, the Arya-starrer has raked in Rs 1.03 crore from 216 shows. The mixed response from the audience has had an impact on its business. Vijay Sethupathi's Junga, in its second weekend, has earned Rs 48.23 lakh from 174 shows. The 10-day total collection of the film stands at Rs 3.06 crore.
Hollywood film Mission: Impossible – Fallout has collected Rs 38.21 lakh from 117 shows. The total collection of the movie now stands at Rs 2.06 crore which is a decent collection for a Hollywood flick.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Fanney Khan has got an average opening in Chennai. It has raked in Rs only 23.41 lakh from 69 shows.
Karthi's Kadai Kutty Singam has entered its fourth weekend by collecting Rs 13.06 lakh from 90 shows. The total collection of the movie now stands at Rs 5.66 crore.
Another Hindi film Karwaan has collected Rs 7.49 lakh from 21 shows while Telugu film Chi La Sow collected Rs 6.62 lakh from 21 shows. Tamil film Maniyar Kudumbam managed to collect Rs 5.64 lakh.
With Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 releasing this week, the business of several movies including Ghajinikanth, is set to take a severe toll on its box office collection.
