Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has confirmed to sell the Redmi Note 4G without registration on Flipkart this weekend.
As a promotional campaign to mark India's 66th Republic day, Xiaomi has announced an open sale of Redmi Note 4G on Flipkart from 24 to 26 January.
"In celebration of Republic Day, we are making Redmi Note 4G available for all through open sale. You can buy your Redmi Note 4G at any time during this holiday weekend : 24th-26th Jan. No registration required. Share this and inform your friends, tell them don't miss it!" the company posted on Facebook.
This is first time the company is conducting an open sale for Redmi Note phone. Early this week Xiaomi device got sold out in less than an hour. Now, unlucky buyers will have ample time this weekend to buy the elusive phablet.
For the uninitiated, Redmi Note 4G sports a 5.5-inch HD display and run on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS powered by the Snapdragon 400 series quad-core SoC (System on Chip), 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB) and a 3,100mAh battery.
