Rajinikanth-starrer "Lingaa" audio will be coming out soon. The music of the upcoming Tamil movie will be released in November 2014. This will eventually kick-start the promotions of the Kollywood flick.
Buzz is that the makers of the film have zeroed-in on a date to launch the audio of "Lingaa". It will be a mega-event, like Rajinikanth's previous music launch functions and will be held in the second week of November.
The music launch function will be held in Chennai and it will be graced by some big names from the film industry. The guest list will be finalised once the superstar and the "Lingaa" team return to India.
"Lingaa" audio marks the return of the successful trio – Rajinikanth, AR Rahman and KS Ravikumar. Earlier, they had delivered chartbuster albums like "Muthu" and "Padaiyappa". The success of their previous audios has lead to high expectations from the current movie. Eros International has the audio rights for the film.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth and Anushka Shetty are expected to travel to shoot a song in the Arab countries. They are reportedly leaving by the end of this month for the three-day shoot.
Audio Release Paves Way for Promotions
"Lingaa" will hit the screens worldwide on December 12 to coincide with the superstar's birthday. The audio release in November will give the makers one full month promotions. The movie will simultaneously be released in Tamil and Telugu.
"Lingaa" is a family-oriented action movie starring Rajinikanth, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and leading South actress Anushka Shetty. The supporting cast comprises of Dev Gill, Santhanam, Karunakaran, Manobala, Radha Ravi and others. AR Rathnavelu is the cinematographer and Samjith Mhd is the editor of the movie produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
