The operations at the chancellery were not affected.

The office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel was sealed off on Wednesday due to a suspicious package, as per reports.
According to Reuters, there were plastic yellow postal crates in an area near Merkel's office in Berlin.
Germany's Federal Police were investigated the suspicious package.
"Arriving mail is routinely checked, and today we found something suspicious," a federal police spokesman told AFP
