The report of an escaped tiger killing a man in Georgia comes a day after reports suggested that all lions and tigers that had escaped had been found dead.
Zoo spokeswoman Mziya Sharashidze had told the Associated Press that eight lions, seven tigers and at least two of its three jaguars were found dead, while two of the zoo's bears had survived.
Nineteen people had died in the floods as of Tuesday.
Images of the wild animals walking along streets in the city flooded social media over the last few days, with many likening the situation to the Hollywood film "Jumanji."
