George Clooney and Amal Clooney are very much still together and committed to their marriage, despite reports of a split. However, the latest issue of Life and Style magazine has come up with explosive claims that the 57-year-old actor is dreading his relationship with Amal.

The magazine's cover reads: "George trapped in a bad marriage" and called Amal "cold, controlling and demanding."

An alleged insider said: "They appear to have one of the best relationships going, but it just hasn't been true lately... They've been at odds with each other like never before."

"George has often felt that he's trapped in a bad marriage. Their troubles exploded with a blowout argument — their worst fight ever — and George ended up walking out on Amal," the source said.

"Everyone is hoping they survive this rough patch, make it to their anniversary and find a way to thrive and be happy once again," the insider went on.

According to Gossip Cop, the claims are not true. The couple is apparently very much in love and their marriage is not on the rocks.

The Gravity star and the British-Lebanese lawyer had tied the knot in 2014 in Venice, Italy. The couple has two children --a daughter named Ella, and son, Alexander.

Previously, during an interview with ET's Nancy O'Dell, George could not stop gushing about his barrister partner. He said: "She's an amazing human being. And she's caring. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met. And she's got a great sense of humour. There's a number of reasons why."

The Oscar winner also talked about Amal's sense of style. He said: "It's amazing, because she's always – since the day I met her – she's always had this insanely...it's eccentric but it's fun, sense of fashion. How she does it while she's got 11 cases she's working on, and she was teaching at Columbia, and she's still like, 'I want to wear that dress.' It's crazy. It has been sort of fascinating to watch, because she has such great taste."
