Geetha Govindam US box office collection: Vijay starrer beats Arjun Reddy, GPS to become 14th highest grosser

Geetha Govindam has smashed the lifetime collection records of Vijay Devarakonda's Arjun Reddy and Balakrishna Gautamiputra Satakarni (GPS) to become the 14^th all-time highest Tollywood grosser at the US box office.

After receiving plaudits at the premiere shows, Geetha Govindam collected $1,564,256 at the US box office in the five-day-extended first weekend. The movie became the fifth highest-grossing Telugu movie of 2018 in the US and the 21st highest grossing Telugu film of all time at the US box office.

The Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer witnessed a steep decline in its collection on Monday as it was a working day. However, some offers on ticket helped it fare well on Tuesday. Geetha Govindam collected $49,721 on Monday and $119,934 on Tuesday at the US box office.

Geetha Govindam needed to collect $37,549 to beat the records of Arjun Reddy and it has now achieved these numbers on Wednesday to be the highest grossing film for Vijay Devarakonda.
