Megastar Chiranjeevi will reportedly be the chief guest at the pre-release function of Geetha Govindam starring Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. This event will be live-streamed on YouTube.

The pre-release event of Geetha Govindam will be held at Sir CR Reddy Convention Hall, Andhra University South Campus, VIZAG from 5.00 PM on Sunday, Aug 12. Bunny Vas, who is bankrolling Geetha Govindam under the banner Geetha Arts 2 (GA2) Pictures, has made grand arrangements for this promotional function.

GA2 Pictures is the subsidiary company of Geetha Arts, which was established in 1972 by Allu Aravind. It reported that Aravind requested his brother-in-law of Chiranjeevi to be the chief guest on this occasion. The megastar is currently busy shooting for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and he has reportedly agreed to take some time of its busy schedule to attend the function of Geetha Govindam.

Besides Chiranjeevi, some other Telugu celebs are said to be attending the pre-release function of Geetha Govindam. This event, which is set to be a starry and glitzy show, will be telecast live on some Telugu TV channels. The function is also said to be live-steamed on the YouTube channels of Geetha Arts and Aditya Music. Stay locked to this page to watch the event live.

Geetha Govindam is a romantic comedy film, which has been written and directed by Parasuram. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the lead roles in the movie. Subbaraju, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Annapoorna, Kalyani N, Abhay Bethiganti, Sandhya Janak and Nagendra Babu are in the supporting cast of the film, which is scheduled to release on 15 August 2018.
