Gautham Menon is all set to team up with Vikram for the first time. The director will be making formal announcement on the project in the next 7-10 days.
As per the buzz, Gautham Menon is reviving his Dhruva Natchathiram. The movie was originally planned with Suriya and the actor had given a nod. In fact, the team had its muhurat function. But Menon could not come up with a convincing script, which eventually made the Ghajini actor walk out of the project.
Dhruva Natchathiram is said to be a thriller, which will be entirely shot in the US. Gautham Menon is producing the film on his home banner of Ondraaga Entertainments. A Bollywood actress will reportedly play the female lead role in the flick and two-time Oscar Award winner AR Rahman will score the music.
The project will take off once Gautham Menon completes his Enai Nokki Paayum Thota, which will star Dhanush in the lead. On the other hand, Vikram has to wrap up his film with Vijay Chander of Vaalu fame before moving on to Menon's flick.
