Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara starrer "Naanum Rowdy Thaan", also spelled as "Nanum Rowdydhaan", opened to good reviews from audience and critics. Now, it has also won appreciation from a celebrity!
Leading filmmaker Gautham Menon has praised the movie to the heavens. The director saw "Naanum Rowdy Thaan" at a special screening and has shared good words about the movie on Twitter.

"Naanum Rowdy Thaan" is a comedy movie loaded with lots of emotions. Vignesh Shivan has written and directed the movie. The performances of the key characters have been appreciated by cine-goers.
Meanwhile, "Naanum Rowdy Thaan" has performed well at the box office. The Kollywood movie, which was released for Navaratri weekend, earned Rs 2.16 crore on the release day despite facing a huge competition from Vikram's "10 Endrathukulla", which minted Rs 5 crore in Tamil Nadu and a total of 6.5 crore from India.
The collection saw a growth on its second day at the box office in Tamil Nadu with "Naanum Rowdy Thaan" making Rs 2.27 crore to take its two-day business to Rs 4.43 crore.
The next two days (Saturday and Sunday) have got good response for advance bookings and the total four-day first weekend business of the flick might cross Rs 10 crore.
