Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is known for his hit films "Vaaranam Aayiram" (2008) and "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa" among others, is reportedly mulling a multilingual project with four superstars of the South Indian entertainment industry. The film, which is expected to take off by next year, is rumoured to have Puneeth Rajkumar, Simbu, Fahadh Faasil and Allu Arjun in the lead roles.
"Gautham felt he could work with Puneeth and Fahadh in the same project instead of wasting time on two projects. He also plans to rope in Simbu and Allu Arjun for the project that's likely to be made in three or more languages," source told IANS.
The untitled flick is about four friends who meet after many years during a wedding function and decide to go on a trip.
While Gautham might produce the Tamil and Malayalam versions of the film, Puneeth is expected to bankroll it in Kannada. Reports suggest that a leading producer will take care of the Telugu version of the multi-starrer.
Currently, Gautham is busy with Tamil-Telugu bilingual film "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada", which has Simbu and Manjima Mohan in the lead roles.
