National Award winning director Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi, who is busy working on Balakrishna's 100th movie "Gautamiputra Satakarni," is set to get married to Dr. Ramya V in August.
Krish is the elder son of his family and his younger brother is married and settled in the US. His mother, who recently underwent a minor cancer treatment, had been pressuring him to get married for long. But the director was said to be putting it off due to his work commitments. However, he agreed to get hitched after "Kanche" won him the National Award.
Then, Krish's mother began the search for a suitable girl for him and she found Ramya. "The director has been working hard from the beginning of his career and was disappointed for not getting awards for his first two films Gamyam and Vedam. But his recent film Kanche got the National Award and he told his mother that he was now ready to get married," the source.
Krish and Dr. Ramya V liked each other and agreed for the wedding. "It's an arranged marriage; after they met each other, they conveyed their decision to their parents," a reliable source told Deccan Chronicle. "Krish and Ramya liked each other from the very beginning and told their parents the same," the source added.
Krish made his debut as an independent director with 2008's Telugu movie "Gamyam," which went on to become a big hit at the box office. His debut directorial venture won him Nandi Award and Filmfare Award for Best Director. He has directed six movies in the last eight years and won several awards. He is currently directing Balakrishna in the much talked about film "Gautamiputra Satakarni."
