Good things come to those who wait. "Bigg Boss 8" winner Gautam Gulati might have struggled for a fair amount of time in his career but with the successful stint at the high-voltage reality show, he has become quite a social media star.
Not revealing much, the suave actor earlier said he signed two films, both of which are comedies. But in a recently concluded interview with Mumbai Mirror, Gautam gave out interesting pieces of information.
Titled "Udanchoo", his debut film will be directed by Mohit Suri's ("Ek Villain") assistant Vipin Parashar. He will be seen romancing Brazilian model Bruna Abdullah and newcomer Sasha Saigal.
Scheduled to roll on 12 April, the makers are looking at a 15-day schedule in the national capital and then Pune. "The name changes as the film progresses and so does my appearance. I have five different looks," he informed.
A few days ago, Gautam spilled beans on his three-film deal with a big banner and that he has bagged a supporting role in a film which is slated for release next year. "I have just 40 minutes of screen time, but I couldn't resist signing the film because of the leading lady," the "Diya Aur Baati Hum" actor told the leading daily.
After he announced the news of big break on Twitter, there were conjectures that the actor may have bagged Farah Khan's next film as they share a great rapport and the filmmaker is often heard heaping praises on Gautam.
"Farah ma'am and I share a close bond. She was the one who declared me the 'Bigg Boss winner' and recently invited me on her food show, Farah Ki Dawat, with Alia Bhatt. I am like her bachcha, but I have not signed a film with her yet," he said.
While he was in the "BB8" house, there were reports of him being roped in for Sushant Singh Rajput's "M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story". However, since there has been no official confirmation on this piece of intel yet, it can be counted as a speculation.
